The observation about the production of okra and  types of disease okra plant were observed at the okra plantation and there are many types of diseases of okra plant. During rainy season,  the disease is getting serious . Due to clearing of veins, leaves look chlorotic because there is a yellow and mosaic pattern on leaves . Fruit production is adversely affected. Fruits become yellow and lose acceptability. Okra should not be harvested in the rain or when excessively wet, and should be handled with care. Rubber gloves should be used during harvesting and handling. On harvesting approximately 1 cm of stem should remain attached to the pod. The production of okra are decreasing because the okra can be planted for at least 8 weeks. If the okra plant were planted for more than 8 weeks, the quality of okra will decreased and damaged. Besides, okra plant will be harvested after 8 weeks because the production of okra will decreasing and the fruit easily affected by diseases and fungus.

We interviewed her and having discussion about the issues in okra plantation.She started planting on November last year in 3 hectares of okra plantation. So, this blog is about our case study in okra plantation  which is located in Alor Mengkudu, Alor Setar, Kedah. basically, okra is Albelmoschus esculetus L known as okra is a flowering plant belonging to the Malvaccae family.      These plant are grown in tropical , subtropical and temperate temperatures around the world. In the European market, okra is considered to be an ethnic vegetable and is consumed mostly by African, Caribbean and Asian communities. Okra is shipped to the Europe  by air. These plant are grown in tropical , subtropical and temperate temperatures around the world. Okra is a popular health food because of its high fiber content, vitamin C and folate. It is also a source of calcium and pottasium. Ginger is green, non-leafy vegetables, widely spread in Malaysia and abroad. The fruit is soft, slimy/sticky (mucilaginous) dense with nutritional content.
